Gabriel Fiatui

Lead Consultant — MSME Development, Investment & Trade

Consultant Professional Experience

Gabriel Fiatui is a development professional with over two decades of experience in MSME development, entrepreneurship, investment promotion, trade facilitation and green finance. He designs and manages programmes that drive economic growth, strengthen enterprise ecosystems and promote sustainability across Ghana.

He formulates and implements strategies to improve SME management, strategic governance and capacity, and supports entrepreneurship ecosystems by aligning policy, business development services and investment flows to unlock opportunities for start-ups and growth-stage enterprises — particularly those led by women and youth.

In trade facilitation and investment promotion he works closely with government and private sector actors to improve the regulatory environment and enhance business competitiveness. He is an advocate for green business development, having led programmes that integrate climate-smart practices and circular economy principles into MSME support mechanisms.

He has served as a short-term national expert and consultant on donor-funded programmes including the BUSAC Fund (USAID, DFID, DANIDA, EU), GIZ/AFC SME Financial Access & Inclusion, AFC–Access Bank financial services for women-led businesses, GIZ–DSIK SME Financial Access and Inclusion, and GIZ develoPPP local supplier support in the mining sector. He has also worked with Action Aid, Plan Ghana, Camfed Ghana, World Vision, JICA and the World Bank-funded Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACRESAL) Project in Kogi State, Nigeria.

His work is grounded in planning, monitoring, partnership and stakeholder engagement, adaptive management, and a commitment to capacity building and local ownership.
